The stock size is the best size. 205/55. It you need wider tires, get wider wheels.

 

I'm running 225/50/16's up front and 245/45/16's out back with no problems. I have coil overs though which allow you to run a bigger front tire.

225/50/16's all the way around would be the best choice on stock T2 rims. The 245's really bulge and aren't the best scenario.
