widest tire for a fd rim on fc?

I just bought two fd rims to use as drag rims. Just wondering what the widest possible tire is on those rims without rubbing suspension? I have tanabe gf210 and tokico struts. These would only be used for drag racing so not worried about handling with these on. Thanks in advance Skyler

Go with the micky thompson 10.5x16 et streets . They hook good and will help save the diff.

There almost 9'' wide. I should have said 26x10.5x16 et streets. Jegs or summit about the same price. Ive gone 1.52 60 ft on a street driven fd with them 7800 rpm launch on t11 diff and stock axles but i do have diff brace. You should have a t11 diff the non t11 is not that strong and breaks 1/2 shafts pretty easy.

No i was talking about et streets bias ply they look like slicks with groves. The one you pictured will drive on the street longer and i like the bfg better than them. I cut 1.72 60's with the bfg's.
