Why I like ATE brake fluid

Valvoline Synpower Brake Fluid
Dry Boiling Point = 503 F
Wet Boiling Point = 343 F

ATE Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid
Dry Boiling Point = 536 F
Wet Boiling Point = 392 F

Never tried the ate, but motul 600 fluid (593 dry/420 wet) is also good stuff and not too expensive. I used to use wilwood fluid which has less than 300* wet boiling point and had to change the stuff quite often.

Plus you can get the ATE in blue and gold color, so you can alternate and it makes system bleeds a snap.

Yep, I prefer ATE over Motul because it's not as hygroscopic. Perfect fluid for a non-track dedicated car.

I like the ATE stuff, too.

I've been calling it A-T-E (aye tee ee) for a long time, but I noticed something recently (in a catalog, I think) that you are supposed to pronounce it "AH-tay".

The actual German pronunciation would be ah-tay-eh

I've been using ATE for years, good stuff and half the price of Motul.
