Why are the 99 pads so much better???

Hey SleepR1 and a few other of you guys running 99 brake pads I was wondering what it is about them that makes them so much better.

Are they a different material???

Hmmm don't know...maybe it's a secret

Sumitomo compound? Whatever compound it is, the '99 RS/RZ compound will be the only pads I use on my FD...unless I'm going full-on time trialing...in which case I switch to the Porterfield R4Es with Hoosier slicks...
