Who's running the lowest offsets with stock fenders on an FD?

I'm looking at getting some rims in the near future for my FD. I know that most people go somewhat conservative when they choose their rim width and offset to insure they fit, but I want to go as close to the fender as possible. I'm going to roll my fender lips, and pull out the fender liner if there's any rubbing. I don't plan on running a whole lot of camber, and tire sizes are probably going to be 245s up front and 265s in the rear. So what's the most extreme offsets you've seen with no rubbing issues on stock fenders?

Your suspension will also dictate how quickly you'll run into problems. What suspension setup are you running or planning to run?

This will not work with stock fenders, or even rolled ones, assuming a 10" wheel for that size tire.

I'm on Tein S-techs with R-1 shocks right now which is a pretty significant drop, in the future I want to go with some Tanabe coilovers.

How accurate would you guys say the FD wheels size calculator is? And how much clearance should I allow for the fender? Rolling the fender should allow me to stuff a few extra mm's in there.

Since I'm lowered on S-techs and have side skirts, the wheels look really sunken in. I was thinking about running spacers for the time being, but a friend of mine doesn't recommend spacers/adapters when you're putting down decent power. What do you guys think about this? I don't see much discussion about adapters/spacers.

IMO, you are going to be limited until you get some coilovers. The S-Techs really drop the car and you have no adjustability:

That's a +43 with a 255 size tire using S-Techs. Pretty much any more will be into the fender with that size tire. Using coilovers to bring the height up a bit and having a decently strong spring will allow for a more aggressive offset if that's what you are after.

Search under the users: REH, DriftDreamzSS, and AMRX7

These people seem to be pushing the limit offset wise on the FD.

Bump.

Looking for any input on wheel adapters/spacers.

Has anyone found the JimLab FD chart to be inaccurate? And how much clearance do I need to allow using it?
