Where can I find Bridgestone Potenza So2 Pole Positions?
I want to mount some 245/45s on my stockers. I know these suckers are discontinued......is there some kind of hidden warehouse that's recently been discovered?

Considering that 245/45 16 is the stock size for the rears on S2000's, I'd venture any Honda dealership. They'll probably try and cut a kidney from you just to buy a full set. But, all the S2000 owners say the S02's supplied to Honda are 'special', stickier tires made solely for the S2000 supply .....

Hidden warehouse? I heard there are tons of underground caverns in Iraq. Since you're close by........
Just kidding.
Check Tire Rack. If that doesn't work, PM Rishie.

yeah, I already checked the rack and they do have them in 225/50zr16, but I'm looking for 245s. I'll try Rishie, and a few Honda dealerships to boot.
thanks guys---

Check out:
www.discounttires.com (they have a number of branches in the SoCal area. Not sure if they can ship the tire, but it is a possibility). They (more importantly) sell Bridgestone tires.
Also,
www.justtires.com
Heck, better yet, call up your local Honda dealership and ask them where do they get their tires from. They can usually refer you to a tire shop near you.

Yup. If you're already shopping in the S02 price range, I'd highly recommend the Toyo T1-S's. Very good tire ... and the lightest of the "Max Performance" tires out there. Less weight!

Here's a place: http://www.onlinetires.com/Tires/ToyoTires.htm
and another
http://www.1010tires.com/tiresearch....d=Toyo&id=1004
Probably better to get the SO3's. If you do find the SO2's and you destroy one, you'll be SOL getting a matching replacement.

FWIW
Treadwear ratings don't mean much, they are manufacturer-dependant, theres no standard out there so they are really only good for comparing tires of the same manufacturer...
