Question Wheels, which sizes

Hi Guys/Gals,

I a newbie looking to get my RX in the near future I just hada question.

What size do you recommend for wheels on the Curvy FD3s?

17 or 18? oh and the width?
also do I need a staggered offset so they sit better in the arches?

Many thanks.

Loving the sticky pics topic - 309 pages of RX7, sweet!

I just browsed though this entire thread and saved pictures from any car I liked the wheel(size) on if I could find the wheel/tiresize and offset for it.

For a Stock Fender setup on the FD a general consensus is:

9" Wide wheel with +45 offset

Utilizing a 255 wide tire. Making sure you retain proper tire diameters.

i.e. 17" = 255/40/17, 18" = 255/35/18

If you're truly interested in wheels and can supply me with:

1. Style of wheel that appeals
2. Budget for WHEELS ONLY

I'm sure I can help you out as I have hundreds of FD owners here.

i have several Enkei RPF1 fitments in stock for the FD.

I found 4x114.3 "FB" to have a fitment of approx

7" +35.

The 4x110 PCD has low offset and runs phat lip.
