Wheels and rubber stuff

Ha, out there in Mazda land,

which are the biggest wheels I go to on a 3rd gen car without changing body or any mech work done. could I go to 265/17/40 rears

On the rear, you can run 285/30 18 or 275/40 17 on 10" wide wheels, assuming the offsets are correct (+45 to +51mm). You may need aftermarket trailing arms for the 17"x10", depending on the wheel/tire.
