Wheelhub question

Hi,

i recently bought rare used Advan wheels and let them refurbish. Now they are on my fd but in front, the wheel (9" wide, 22offset) is slightly to wide. It Sticks out approx 0,5" over the fender. Not much, are nearly not visible, but i don't like such imperfections. In the rear, the same setting works perfect.
Since i cannot change the offset of the rim, is there a way to shorten the wheel hub? Theres a lot of material ... Or are there aftermarket possibilities? I know, this sounds strange, but i don't want to buy 2 new wheels. Those are very expensive.

thanks for help, ica

what i actually mean with wheelhub is the area of the brake disk, the rim is mounted to. are there aftermarket brake discs where this area doesn't stick out that much? If i'm not wrong, this would move the whole wheel more into the wheel house.
