wheel size question, 4 lug FC

I've got a 17X7 inch rim with a +40 offset on the front of my FC with an 1/8 inch spacer just to clear the bearing so the center cap will fit. I'd like to move to a 17X8 and so far the wheel I like is offered in the right bolt pattern with a +35 offset. Will this fit? The tire is a 215/45/17 front, the rear is 235/45/17 and I know the rear has plenty of room.

what do you think would be the limit for offset on a 17X8 for the front with a 215/45/17 or 225/45/17

I've heard of people going +40, but I'd recommend no more than +35.

or 225/45/17
+35 min, but I'd be more comfortable with +30 or less.

well, i'm gonna go with a 17X8 +35mm w/ 215/45/17 front and 35/45/17 rear. I have an 1/8th inch spacer to use up front if I have to and Tein camber plates already on the car. will this look noticeably beefier and more aggressive than my current 17X7 + 40mm with 215/45/17 front and 235/45/17 rear?
