Wheel questions- '85 SE

I'm looking at buying some 16" rims for my rex. They're 7.5 in. wide w/a 40mm offset. They weigh about 19lbs/ea. Are these wider than most 16"? What tire size will fit them and still keep close to factory overall diameter so the speedo still reads right? How about the weight? Are they too heavy/good/light? Any help is appreciated, thanks!

7.5" is not wide, it's a common width. 19lbs for a 16x7.5 is a little on the heavy side IMO, but if it's for street use I don't feel it's a deal breaker.

As for the speedo, what was the stock size to begin with?
