the rivets are there for a reason

when you put sideskirts on or other body kit peices they are often riveted on and then sanded flush before priming and painting as well as being double sided tape attached or attached in some other manner. the riveting just really attaches the stuff to the body....obviously...

My favorite rims for a black FD are the Volk GTN. Check them out on Loi's car at:

Bad *** Rims

I would love to get these for mine.

Thanks for the description. I've never added any body kit, so I'm not familiar with the process.

Kind of nasty to punch little holes down the length of your car, so if this is the only way to attach a kit, I doubt I will get one.

I do like some of the front bumpers that are available. Besides, they seem more functional, as they improve airflow through the radiator/oil coolers. I assume they attach the same way as the stock bumper, thus no rivet holes.

you dont HAVE to connect the sides that way, it is just an EXTRA way of attaching them besides the other methods that they use...

the cars are not black, but they would look good on black cars(the rims)...It seems they(rays engineering) did not want people to easily take the pic of the z...

can anybody post pics of polished stock wheels?

HEy, I am thinkign about getting my stockers polished. However, it is very expensive to get someone to do it. So, i just dont know if i should. My stock ones are very bad looking right now. Peeling, dirty, etc. DOesn anyone have pics of some like perfect condition stock wheels. Maybe I should just get a new set of stockers. I forgot what clean wheels looks like! Oh yeah, pictures with a red FD are preferred but any pics will be greatly appreciated! Thanks alot!

Re: can anybody post pics of polished stock wheels?

ttb is selling his sweetly polished FD Rx7 Wheels for $450 (Bay Area preferred). He has pics posted. Apparently he'll take no less than $450. I think it's a good deal. I'd buy them myself, but I've switched to Type RS brakes and REQUIRE 17-inch wheels. Here's the thread:
