yeah, that's sweet. we must remember that only the tire manufacturer can give the ACTUAL tire specs. Calculating the specs is just an estimate of the tire's dimensions....

Thanks for the help. I'll get with tirerack and get things changed. I'm sure that will cause increased time delay to get my right set of tires.

This is what I will be asking for. Just want to double check so I don't mess this up. MY FD suspension is all stock other than the Tokio 5 Adj shocks. NO rubbing in front from full right to left right?

Qty 4 SSRGT1 18X9 +45 offset
Qty 4 255/35-18 Tires.

Thanks again for the help.

I checked the Tire Rack specs for the Pirelle P7000 Supersports http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Spec.j...000+SUPERSPORT

The overall tire diameters are 25.1 inches, so you'll be fine.

I have 255/40-17 Yokohama AVS Intermediates (25 inches overall diameter) on 9 x 17, 45-mm offset SSR Instegral A2s with H&R Sport Springs, Eibach sway bars, stock Showa R1 shocks, 1.5 degrees negative camber fr/rr. I have absolutely no rubbing full lock left or right...

ttb has a similar setup with his SSR GT1s, and I believe his suspension is lowered, and he has not reported any problems.

Fritz Flynn has 9 x 17, 45-mm offset Fikse FM-10s with 255/40-17 Toyo T1-S tires, that he's running with no clearance problems.

The 255/40-17 on 9 x 17 or 255/35-18 on 9 x 18, 45-mm offset on both 17 or 18-inch diameters is a proven "SleepR1" fitment...

BTW, most of the HRE wheels are heavy, despite being forged and they certainly are $$$$. If you don't think Fikse FM/5 or FM/10s are gorgeous, well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

Soon as the weather clears I'll take it for a test drive.
It looks OK in the garage. Hope it looks better outside performing.

The wheels are 18X9 with a 45 offset.

Thanks ARD T2 and Sleep R1 for the advice.

Those look fantastic Powermalex, and they're pretty light too!

Also, your 99-front end looks very nice.

Another satisfying SleepR1 fitment

Looks great! They'll handle great too!

Glad you took our advice

The GT1s are light too! My setup with 9 x 17, 45-mm offset Integral A2s with 255/40-17 Yokohama AVS Intermediates weighed 45 lbs...

Admittedly, I like the ttb's 17-inch GT1s better, because they're not as "exaggerated" as the 18s are? Powermax was going for a certain look, and I'd say he's got it going on, now

I gotto wait for better weather. Can't wait to drive em. Tornato's hard rain is keeping her under cover.

SleepR1/ARD T2 I need to order some spacers from H&R I need to know what size I need to install the FD wheels on the FC. I don't want to sell them and get new wheels for the FC. I just want to use the FD wheels/tires just for crusing around. No hard driving since the FC seems under powered conpair to the FD any. I leave the hard driving to the FD.

Thanks

Good luck.

I love that car, too. It was a large factor in my purchase of those wheels.
