wheel help
Does anyone know of any decent wheels similar to the ssr gt3 (which are too heavy) or the hre 547 (which are too expensive)? I love that style but cant seen to find anything reasonable in both weight and price..

The SSR GT-1s look very similar to the GT-3s. Pretty much the only difference is that the GT-3 is obviously a multi-piece wheel.
The GT-1s weigh about 18-19 lbs in the 17x9 size, which is pretty decent given their reasonable price.

Yes, the styling is very similar, at least so far as the spoke pattern goes. But on the gt1 the spokes connect flush with the edge of the wheel dont they? I really like the deep lip look of the gt3 style..

Also, is the additional weight actually that much more noticable? I mean, does 6 or 8 pounds truly make a significant difference in performance?

You have to decide whether aesthetics are more important than performance.
