Question Wheel fitment Question

I have an 87 rx with the 3rd gen 5lug conversion. Will 15x10 with 4.5 backspacing fit in the rear?
also if it does fit will it stick out of the fender a ridiculous amount?

3rd gen 5 lug???

On the FC only the strippy 86-87.5 base model and the 86-88 Luxury coupe/SE came with anything but 5 lugs.

i put a 5lug conversion on it and its the same bolt pattern as a 3rd gen 5x114.3 or 5x4.5.

That rim spec will not fit under stock fenders.
You can drop down to a 6.0" backspacing in the rear and maybe get the 10.0" wide to fit under there, but you're 1.5" further out...
I'd put money it doesn't fit.

What size tire / slick you planning to run?
9.0" wide no problem to fit back there...slick width.
