Wheel choices.. need input

first thing first.

I am looking for wheels for an aesthetic purpose, for an aggressive stance for a street FD.( yes i know, ill lack in the performance area. but idc)

NO WIDE BODY!.

Specs I want

Front 18x10 +16 (or +18) Rear 18x11 +12 (or +16)

im willing to pay up to $2500 for wheels

now the hardest part is, i dont know what wheels to get ..( or which wheels are offered in those specs.)

my choices so far

SSR MS1(they come in the specs i want)

5 zigen fno1R-C(18x10 +12)

TE37

Work equips(or 02)

Work emotions XD9

Work VSXX

CE28N

So the question is, what wheels should I get?? or if you have any other wheel choices, i would appreciate it..

thanks in advance

The ONLY wheels you listed that go to your sizes in your list are the MS1s.

Everything else is played out, would look stupid, or have mediocre sizing.

Rezax II's would be cool if you could find a set in those sizes. GTR spec regamasters would be a nice choice for 1 piece but I think 10.5j +18 might be the max for those, cant remember.

HRE's are all sweet but I never see them on FD's, they might weigh a ton, I just dont know...but if their for touring they might be a possibility maybe some other members can chime in why they are not common on FD's

10 +18 is mediocre lol.. i had the same specs...

currently the TE's i have on the FD are 17x9.5 +12, and they still fit under stock fender like nothing... 11 +12 will be really aggressive with a pull and roll

The difference between 9.5" +12 and 11" +12 is that the 11" wheel will stick out exactly .25" more than the 9.5"

However, the 17s you have now so much easier to stuff under the fender than 18s will be... I'd suggest you test it before buying wheels or else risk looking a bit foolish with 20 degrees of negative camber and still destroying your fenders.

thanks for the input.. appreciate any help i can get..

yes that is true, the 17's are more forgiving, the closet ive gotten to 11 +12, is 18x10.5 +5..

And from what I seen, and researched on.. a 11 +12 on a 18 is achievable.. I just need to get a roll and pull/flare.. and i dnt see why there should be any issues, for the most part...

i do plan on having some poke...

Just a reminder, this is purely cosmetic and form... the wheels specs are not for performance(IE: road racing).

i do however plan on drifting with this set up.

heres the pics of 18x10.5 +5 test fitting(these are fronts, but tested them for the rear).

11" +12 and 10.5" +5 are virtually identical, so those pics above are going to be exactly how the 11" +12 will look... too much poke.

I'm all for a flush look, but that much poke makes the car look cheap. But hey, it's your car.

I got some NT03+M in a flush fitment that can actually net you some good performance as well without having to run over 4degs of camber. hehe.

18x10.5 +30 front and rear. Run 235/40 or 255/35.

VS XX Don't bother about the last pic w/o the coilovers. I could have took out the Grand Canyon with that setup. But Just another option i guess.
