Exclamation Wheel Adapters to 5 lug?

I just saw this site http://www.technotoytuning.com/t3_si..._adapters.html

...um...it says 4x114.3mm -> 5x114.3mm does that mean you can put on a adapter to make a 4 bolt turn into a 5 bolt patter and viola? Just wondering if you guys could give me some insight on this.

Yes, they make adapters to change wheels patterns. This one looks like it bolts to your original hub/wheel bolts, with a new pattern drilled on the other side. The adapter will also change your offset by 32mm.

Do you recommend this? Or should I just do the entire Rotor/hub swap? I'd rather take a quicker route through this. It's not unsafe, is it?

Since it changes my offset...and what exactly is the offset on a stock SE 1986 Rx-7? Would it make the wheels pop out TOO much? I hope it doesn't look ugly....

Do the whole hub rotor swap as I dont think wheel spacers are DOT approved. Check the 2nd forum faq for the offset

It's a bit hard for me to source the whole hub conversion, and I want a no hassle job.

Is 45MM spacers too much? How much offset would my rim have to have in order to keep the car looking normal and not all whacky?

Why go 5lug? Are you having trouble finding wheels? You can always source used 4 lug S13 wheels for the FC.

I don't suggest the spacer adaptor either cause then finding wheels will be just as hard. Your stock offset is like a 8" +35. I'd suggest the FN01RC in 4 lug. 17x8, that's a good cheap wheel. I can source for you if you want.

If you get that spacer bro you're in like Subaru STI or Honda S2K offset territory actually.
