Whats my bolt pattern???
hey, ive got a lame *** 88 SE, w/ the frooty looking, pizza cutter, 14" 'phone dial' rims. its the 4 lug pattern. but ive been told its REALLY oddball...
what are the dimensions of my Bolt pattern, and my current offset/inset? anyone know, offhand?
cuz i wanna cross reference these wheel dimensions w/ other 4 lug cars and see if i can 'transplant' some reasonably acceptable lookin rims onto this car.
cuz, Wheels make the Car!
what about Mustang rims, like the 'turbine' rims from the early 90s GT's, or the 5-star alloys? or what about cougar rims???
(isnt it wierd that POS fords have 4 lugs rims, and ive got oddball 4 lug wheels on MY base model?)
*shrugs* i dunno, give me a hint here...i dont have time or money for a 5-lug conversion, and dont wanna shell out big bucks for rims that i cant switch over to my T2 or GTUs (when i get one)
thanks guys

It has a search where you pick your car and it shows all wheels that they have that will fit it. It's a good place to start.

No, the '84 and '85 GSL-SE used 4x4.5" and every other '79-'85 model used 4x110mm. There are very few options for the 110mm bolt pattern. Do a search in the 1st gen section and you will find some wheel options. Also check the wheel part of the for sale section.
