What you guy's think of my new rims??
Just picked them up yesterday for $650CAD with tires.
Right now the tires are 205/40/R17... Would like to try some 225's on but not sure if they will fit with my 40mm offset. Rims are 17x7..
Let me know what you think.. I love them..

Thanks guys... Yes i'm gonna pick up some 225/45/R17 tires, just as soon as i decide on what tire. I'm leaning towards the Yokohama AVS Sport's right now or the Kumho ECSTA Supra 712's.... Just looking for something that can handle some decent turns once a whaile and doesn't wear to bad.
I love my Falken FK-451's. I was looking at ES100's, Supra 712 and the like and I decided after lots of research that the 451's were the best value. They stick well, they don't wear too fast, they can handle track driving witout problems and they're inexpensive (the Khumos are alot cheaper but are inferior tires). Sport Auto, a german mag, tested them against many other similiar tires and they placed second only to the much more expensive Dunlop SP-9000.

Car looks sharp on those wheels
225/45/17 is a proper size, but so is 215/45/17 and so is 205/45/17 and 205/50/17. Tire choice is a personal thing, the 205 will be cheaper, but will grip less, but will be less likely to rub, it's up to you.
If you check out the Canadian Forum for sale section a member has some fantastic deals on brand new Pirelli P-zeros in various sizes, maybe too good to miss but you would have to factor in shipping from Ontario to BC.
Check out http://www.tiretrends.com/. They have great service and low prces. Once you figure out the tires you want print out their price and take it around to some local places to see if they'll match the price, and then you don't have to pay for shipping.
As for tires, don't skimp, they are the only thing that connects the car to the road. As for me, I like my Falken FK-451's, they should last a while, are fairly sticky and are relatively cheap.
