What worn suspension parts cause "Creaking"?

I had this really bad creaking noise coming from my front suspension. I ended up using Spray grease to lube every joint. The noise went away for a few months, but now it's back.

What parts tend to go bad and cause excessive noise?

Thanks,

John

Depends if the creaking noise when the car going over bumps or when the car is turning. You might want to jounce the car to see if you can pin point the noise, or try turning the steering wheel. If it only happens when you turn the steering wheel whenthe car is not moving, its most likely the ball joint in the outter tie rod end. A worn lower ball joint can cause a creaking noise when the suspension moves up and down. But it can be any bushing or joint. Hope that helps.

Thanks Will,

It happens when I bounce up and down on the car.
I was worried that it might be one of those parts that needs to be "pressed in"
Damnit.
