What tires to run on a drag only car (front tires)

A friend of mine just bought a second spare tire rim to put on the front of his street/drag rx7 and was wondering what kind of tires everyone is using on the spare rims (the yellow enkeis)

Thanks in advance guys

PM me and I'll put you in contact with my buddy. He is running motorcycle bias ply 135/90/16's I believe up front and slicks out back on FD 16x4 spares.

Please realize that you can not mix bias and radial tires or the car will be completely unstable.

If one runs bias skinnies up front one MUST run real slicks out back (no drag radial slicks). If you don't follow this rule you will have one hell of a scary car. My friend put slicks out back with his stock 16x8 radials up front at the track and almost lost it twice into the wall. Shorts changed and lesson learned.

I like the moroso DS-2 drag fronts.. they are bias ply and a lot lighter then automotive tires.
