what size tires for 18x9 & 18x10

I just ordered me some wheels from bc forged 18x9f and 18x10r so hopefully they come out good. BUt I had a question, my local rotary shop told me the biggest size I can get in the fron is 235 and 265 in the back to prevent from rubbing. I thought to myself that those tires are way to small for those rims and I was initially told I could run up to 285's in the back and 255's in the front. does anyone know the biggest tire I can run on theses rims? also Im on tein coilovers if that help at all.
