what is powder coated the wheels?

what is powder coated the wheels?

I don't understand what is powder coated the wheels? any difference with just paint the wheels??

The powerder-coating is placed on the rim and then baked on at extremely high temperatures...it will not chip off like paint...It pretty much bonds to the rim and becomes a part of the rim.

Yup he is right. you can take a hammer to it and the paint will not chip off. dunno how it would do against a curb though

its an electromagnetic powder that is baked onto the wheels and comes out with a high gloss finish and is very durable. You can still chip it off but its 10x stronger than paint and last much longer
