What is the Function of Fender Braces?

http://www.more-japan.com/product.ph...cat=614&page=1

I got a newsletter from morejapan and they featured the nagisa fender

braces that caught my interest. I read through it but couldn't quite grasp

the concept of the function of the fender braces. I'm guessing it gives the

car more steering response?

Yes, exactly. They tend to show a more marked improvement in steering/brake response than a strut bar.

Pretty much more chassis bracing. Similar concept to the stock shock tower brace.

This post does a good job of explaining it:

Add weight? That isn't exactly a weak area of the car.
