What is the file for on the TEIN Type HA's?

When i got my TEINs i noticed that it had a little file in it..(like a nail file). What is that used for? and also what are the 2 metal arm tools for? I didnt get the pillow ball mounts, is that gonna be a problem? Thanks.

the little file is actually used to adjust the shock stiffness level...u insert it on the top of the shock and turn the dial...but i just use my thumb and finger and turn the **** at the top of the shock. the 2 metal arms are used for raising or lowering the car once you have the shock in place. u use them to raise/lower the bottom perch and the bottom perch stop. hope this helps.

danny, the file is for when you take the stock mounts out you will notice the hole on there is smaller, so you will have to use the file to shave off more room to fit your teins in on top. It's hard to explain it but you'll see when you take it out.

good luck
