what does it take fit FD wheels on an FC?

I want to put my FD stockers onto my FC GXL...does it need a spacer and where would you get it? anyone have pics?

Yes you will need spacers.. and depending on what type of suspension you have depends on the width of the spacers. 6mm should do the trick in all scenarios though.

How will that be at the front end with clearance with the inner guard?

I have seen an FC down these ways with the 18inch late model 5 spoke Rx8 rims...looks sweet!!

From what I have read common is to go with a 25mm bolt on spacer I just got a set for my tii an am currently trying to find a set of spacers as well. But that's with a 245 45 16 tire

25mm is rather large. You would either need a hub centric w/lugs type spacer, or just replace the lugs with extended lugs.
