Man, I was at the Pep Boys the other day to rent a car (Hertz shares the same storefront) and saw those things. Sweet Jesus! is all I have to say.

BTW, Manny, I'm joining the 18" camp......I just bought a set of used Enkei RP-01s with Toyo T1-S tires (18x8.5 w/235/40 and 18x9.5 w/265/35, all +45 offset). I guess I'm not allowed to argue anymore against the practicality of 18" wheels on a daily driver....

ADR? Sparco? 5Zigen? Not even worthy of being mentioned, although at least the 5Zigen FN-01RC and Sparco NT-R are decently light.

To me, this thread should be containing wheels from SSR, Volk, Fikse, CCW, and others of like quality.
I AGREE

i was expecting this thread to be full of the following:

Work, Racing Hart, SSR(speed star racing), Volk Racing, Advan Racing, HRE, BBS, Iforged, CCW

and i get stuff like:

Motegi, ADR, etc, COMON THOSE ARE FRIGGEN KNOCK OFFS, ABOUT AS OPPOSITE FROM THE BEST FD WHEELS YOU CAN GET THAT YOU COULD THINK OF

Bbs

I guess I'm a little biased, but I think most Volk, Advan, Work, etc., don't quite measure up to Fikse, Kinesis, or my fave, BBS:

18" LE37T

17" RPF1

Personally, I think 17's look better, on an FD or FC.
Also, Unless you can find a nice set of Mazdaspeed MS01s

Regamasters are like the holy grail, IMO.

those dont fit the image of the FD, the type of brands you're listing a great for euros and stuff but not for japanese spors cars. i'll make an exception to BBS because they are an all out performance oriented wheel brand, no bull ****.

what are you talking about stealthfox?....kinesis and fikses are THE racing wheels used in high hp supras/300zx/rx7s and also in GT racing so they definently are designed well and also have a classic look to them...
