Bought turbojeff's brand new spare SSR Integral A2 in 9 x 17, 45-mm offset for FD Rx7. I now have 6 of these wheels. I weighed the SSR IA2 at the post office scale with center cap, centering ring and valve stem mounted--19.2 lbs (19 pounds 3 ounces). After owning the Integrals for so long, I've come to appreciate how great-looking these wheels are! They're the perfect compromise--light enough to give good performance with 255/40-17 tires, but strong enough to witstand the chuckholes without bending! The simple 5-spoke styling is a classic theme for the sports car genre (and will never look dated). The SSR IA2's delicate curves and clearcoat bright silver paint, make wheel-cleaning a breeze! I no longer have wheel-envy.

I however do...for your 17x9's....if you come across someone who would trade 2 17x9's for my 2 17x8's let me know sleep...

Or maybe you are ready to make some room in your garage by now?

I've seen a U.S. Enkei brochure listing the RP03 as a newly available trackworthy rim, but haven't seen pricing yet. It's definitely available in Japan for the FD in your size. Personnally, I just bought RP02-J's for my RX-8 for something like $210 per corner from Treadepot.com in Atlanta. Only 18.8 lbs for an 18x8 rim. Here's the RP03:

LOL I'll keep my out for you! Good luck!

RE the RP03s. The lug pockets are too busy IMHO.

RE the Rx8 fitment. I think you can fit 9 or 9.5 x 18 all around with 255/40-18 tires.

Why go with the stock fitment 8 x 18?

Manny, not to hijack the thread but I got the 18x8 RP02-Js to use with an all-season tire because the RX-8's stock Bridgestones are summer tires and lousy in snow. I ended up going a little wider - 245/40/18 with a set of Toyo Proxes 4, which are doing very nicely. If interested in pix check out my 245's The RPO2-Js have a 42mm offset as opposed to the OE 50mm offset, so overall the look is slightly more muscular but not hulked out.

Ahh! Very clean look, Ned! A nice new Black Rx8 to sit next to your black FD Rx7! Cool!
