Anbody know a place that sell used tires? I have seen stuff listed before but not in awhile. It is usually guys or teams that road race. ??

 

Sometimes you can find tires.com selling some tires on ebay.. Mostly new ones that they have left over, etc. Just goto ebaymotors, enter what size you're looking for and if someone has something they'll pop up. I don't think you'd want to use any race compound tires on your car for daily driving though.

 

Look @ yellow pages. Most are sold with 50-70% thread left for $20 each.

Check out some hi end dealers' service lot or tire shops too. Dealers like Mercedes, Jag, BMW and some tire shops sometimes recommend new tires earlier than needed or when they see some uneven wear. They won't sell you those due to liability but you can always take them yourself.
