weird offset ...dont know

theres an ad on ebay for some 18 in axis reverbs ...i ask the guy what offset were they and hey said 15mm what the hell is that.. are they good or bad ..if anyone can look up the wheels on ebay i would greatly appreciate it since i am in a military computer i cant do much...oh he said they were on his evo or lancer

You didn't say whether or not you had a 2nd Gen or 3rd Gen. If it is a second gen, you need somewhere around 38mm offset. Offset is the difference between the centerline of the rim and the surface that mounts to the hub.

If you can access the Internet, check out Tires.com www.tires.com. Look up wheels in 18" specifically for your car. They tell you finish of the wheel, and offset. You can also see pricing to get a feel for what you should have to pay for used wheels.

You need to tell us the rim width and the offset.
Without a width, the "15mm" doesn't mean anything.

If it was a 9" rim, a +15 would be perfect up front.
If it was a 8" rim, it'll look funny up front.
