I have a good spread sheet for comparing wheel packages. Also corrects for different tire size "gearing" and will predict performance change based on wheel switch, and your entered car weight. Would be nice to park it here in a tech section. Could also just pm ne with your net address.

Bottom line, for same traction and o'all dia, weight has little effect, EXCEPT in comfort and quality handling on rough tracks, where low unsprung weight is important.
