They are on ebay, and I read a review of them on a 350z forum. The reviews were really good, and the tires are really cheap.

I would never go too cheap on a tire, after all it is the only thing keeping you rom well, the road and a coffin.

It isn't like Falken/Kumho offerings are particularly expensive.

I dont think you will find an unbiased opinion of them

most posted opinions of them are from people who bought them and are unlikely to spout a bad word about theyre new investment and also might not have a broad range of experience to judge them fairly.

I have the regular Ultrac's on the rear of my GTO. They closely match the design and performance of the Toyo T1R's that I previously had. They have been a good tire for me and others really like the Sessanta's. One thing to make sure of is that you get them put on the correct way. The Sessanta's have a very different design which will confuse the heck out of your tire installer. I will try to grab the graph that explains the tread pattern.

I've been doing some reading on these tires and trying to find what other people say about them. I have to say, there is so much BS written about this tire purely based off its looks that its amazingly surprising. The comments i have read are given by people who have absolutely no idea what they are talking about and have never even seen this tire in person. These comments ranged from "This tire will perform completely differently on car 'X' than car 'Y'..." to "the tread pattern will actually cause water to be pulled into the tire causing hydroplane" to "the non-symmetrical tread pattern will actually cause the car to drift to one side"

This is a huge amount of BS. Frankly, its quite funny.

Other then that, the people who actually do have this tire say its great and I'm sure it is. I would consider them if i was in the market.

DO NOT BUY THESE Vrestein Ultrac Sessanta tires

These tires are cheap for a reason and very dangerous.

I bought them for my 2008 escalade 2 years ago brand new. 305-35-24 tires. I drove about 35,000 miles on them and then all the trouble happened. Christmas day 2010, i was driving on the highway in Queens NY and had an instant destroyed front passenger tire. The entire inner wall of the tire completely ripped apart, causing all of the air to come out of it.

(replaced with a different brand spare).

At first i just thought something on the highway did it or it just happened by bad luck. But two months ago another tire was destroyed the same way, this time the driver side. I was driving on the highway and started driving on the rim. The tire was smoking and was in threads.

This past Saturday June 11th 2011, while driving the steering wheel felt hard to turn, i got out of my truck to see the tires and one was very low with air. I made it to a gas station and put air into the tire and heard a hissing sound from behind the wheel. I filled it up with air to 40 psi, I drove a few blocks to a 24 hour tireshop and the inner wall was hissing air. So i was lucky to not need a tow truck this time and put on the factory spare. The tire was completely destroyed again.

To get the facts straight, nothing hit the tire to cause the inner wall to be destroyed, this happened on its own and without any warning. I've had tires for over 20 years and never had something like this happen before.

I'm guessing the inner walls are made cheap, to not last long. Maybe cheap steel in the belts?

If you have these tires now and drove on them for a while, only use them for the rear wheels, since it seems as if turning the tires at different angles causes them to become weak and eventually destroy itself.

I'm buying brand new name brand tires in the future. Be careful with these tires. My rims were damaged by driving on it, at 65mph. Stay away from these tires.

THREE TIRES DAMAGED THE SAME WAY WITHIN 6 MONTHS. WILL YOU TRUST YOUR LIFE AND RIMS ON THESE?

If you're looking for good reviews of this tire, don't search in English. Find an article and translate it with google. There's hardly any information on these tires in America because they aren't really popular here but they are very popular elsewhere in the world. I read a review from Sweden where they did a tire rack style comparison test with winter tires from Vresdestein and several other tires we can't get in America, including offerings from Bridgestone we can't get. It was interesting how the results turned out.

I don't need to tell you how biased user reviews are. All you need is one look at tire rack's customer review pages to figure that out.
