Volk GT-U which offset?
Ok I did a search and found a lot of threads with Volk, but very few for the GTUs and none pointing me to that
I am interested in these rims so i think i can get
18x8.5 front et 30
and 18x9.5 et 40 rear
is that correct?
and which tyres do you suggest?
i thought about Toyo Proxes in
225/40 front
255/35 rear
thanx!

Did you even look at the sizes for the GTU model? They don't make half-inch sizes....
Best sizes for GTU in 18" would be:
front: 18x9, Disk B, +43 offset -- you will not be able to upgrade to larger brake calipers
rear: same as front if you want to rotate, or 18x10, Disk C, +44 or +50 offset.
The GTU is not a very FD friendly wheel. If you want a Volk mesh type wheel, the SE37K or LE37K would be much better size wise -- 18x8.5, 18x9.5, both +40 offset.
