Vehicle speed calculator

So I've been working on a vehicle speed calculator. It started out with me wondering what kind of speeds would result from the use of the RX8 Transmission. As an example of it's function I have used stock RX8 ratios and tire size.

If you have any input or notice any errors please let me know I have had to use google drive as the file size exceeds the 100kb max of the forum [173 :P]

That is a nice spreadsheet you have set up.

I modified my own speed calculator (Perl script attached) to use the RX8 gearset and and compared the difference.

The max difference between the 2 is 0.04 MPH, which I would attribute to rounding errors from Perl floating point numbers.

So if there are errors in calculations, we have both made the same errors.

here is the command line used:
rpm_speed -aspect_ratio 45 -tire_width 225 -wheel_size 18 -redline 10000 -differential 4.77 -gearset rx8
