Uneven tire wear. Should I switch the fronts to the back??

I have Toyo Proxes 4's on my FD. The rear tires have ALOT less tread than the fronts (they look practically new). For best performance and safety, should I switch the fronts to the back? Or should I just leave them be.
Normally, I'd just buy new tires for the rear, but I just lost my job so money's kinda tight right now.

You should rotate your tires regularly to get even wear (only works if you have the same wheel and tire all around).

Yeah, I know they should be rotated, but I never noticed the uneven wear. They came with the car and I've only put about 10k on the car. The sidewalls are labeled Right and Left. So I assume that they can't be rotated normally.

On most RWD, the rears will typically wear quicker than the fronts. If you have the same rim size, offset and tire size on both front and rear, you can simply rotate the front wheel to rear often enough so you don't wear the rear tires down too fast without wearing the fronts.

i.e. rotate Right Rear to Right Front. Right Front to Right Rear... etc..

Yeah, makes sense, thanks Mahjik. I'll go ahead and move the fronts to the rear. It's been a rough week, hard to keep my head clear. At least my FD passed state inspection today. I was sure they were gonna get me for the rear tires.
