Hello, I recently ordered a set of four Toyo Proxes T1-S Tires and the dealer I got them from informed me they were being discontinued. I was just wondering why this was? Do any of you run Toyo Proxes T1-S tires. The dealer offered to replace them with the new T1-R which is basicly the same, anyway.....

 

The T1-R is the replacement model for the T1-S. They are slightly heavier with, according to Toyo, stiffer sidewalls and better braking stability/traction.
