Tokico Illumina's on FC
I know alot of you out there have the illumina set up on your cars and am wondering what your feedback is of the shocks, also im wonder in perhaps if i could run the Stock GXL Spring or if i should go to a Tii Spring, or Perhaps something aftermarket. If you guys could help me out it would be greatly appreciated
Thanks in advance,
Tyler

The shocks get a mixed review. Most run them on setting 3. Less is too soft, more too stiff.
I've got them and they seem ok. The R-1 shocks were too stiff for me on the street. I guess the #3 setting is about like the stock touring/base shock. I'm going to play with my settings the next track day to see if I notice any handling difference on the track.
From what I read the Koni Yellows are the way to go. I wish I had gone that route. Also the JIC coilovers are getting good reviews.
On springs, my son has the H&R springs on his FD with R1 shocks and the car feels great on the street. The ride is better than stock with more controll. If the boy could only afford some real tires than I could compare it to my car.
