Tokico hp vs. KYB gr2's

What are the pro's and cons between the two? I'm in the suspension phase of upgrades on my fc and i'm just checking out the differances from people who've actually used them. I've decided i don't want the ajustability of illuminas and koni's are a little more expensive and harder to find. I've always used bilstien struts on previous projects but they dont make them for the fc. So, i've pretty much narrowed it down to these two. I drive the car about 40 miles a day, and track it every now and then, and im not really worried about ride quality as much as handleing performance. I haven't decided on springs, so whats the best to use with these? Any opinions/help is greatly appreciated.

gr2's are a "performance-oriented" stock replacement. If you're going with some springs, you'll need something more aggressive. I don't know much about the hp's, but if you want to use lowering springs, you need decent shocks...

We blow thru GR2's all the time. I would suggest the HP's for a non-damping adjustable strut/shock.

Wow, i didn't think anyone would reply, thanks for the insight. it sounds like the gr2's would be good for tooling around town but not so great at the track. I think i'll go with the tokico's. There only a few dollars more and seem like they'll last longer.

Does anyone know what spring works well paired with the HP's?
