Tires on stock 4-lug rims

I have a '86 NA FC with stock 4-lug rims. I want to get new tires soonish, and was wondering what everyone recommends. I live near Dallas, and do lots and lots of driving.

i had yokahama avids on mine and they worked really well and when i pushed them they really held the road well. I think they are about $80-85 dollars a piece. i dont know how much your looking to spend but these ones are ones to consider.

I've got an '87 N/A with 16" 4 lug rims. I put a set of Bridgestone Potenza G009's on them and they've been just great. RX7's (mostly because of rear wheel drive) can sometimes be less than stable in wet road conditions. I bought them as much for their hydroplaning resistance ratings as for anything else, but in all categories they've done just fine. They are a bit harsh and comfort suffers a bit, but I'm OK with that.
