tires size questions, please help

OK.
I got 17/8 all around.
the off setting is either 32 or 38
(not sure between the two)
I also have the fancy coilovers(JIC rocks!!!)
Once the JIC installed I'm planing to have it lowered as much as possible.

QUESTION: Can I go with 245/40/17 all around without rubbing(bridgestone potenza SO3)???

Please give me input.
Thanks
DAN

8-inch wide is too narrow for 245/40-17-mm width tires..you need an 8.5 to make use of the extra section width.

6 mm offset difference is 0.25 inches and is a significant gap in your knowledge about YOUR OWN wheels...

there are a few threads asking this same question
