Tires??!!??

hey
just bought my frist fd wow i love it but i got 17' rims with it that need tires....any ideas on whats a good brand or which are bad??

If the car is lowered, don't get 235/45... I did that and lets just say my gaurd is struggling for paint :P good luck!

Some 17 inch black tyres should do nicely!

seriously though, i have yokohama ES100's, they are very good - grip is pretty stunning to be honest, although not great in the wet. Not deadly, but its the only time i get understeer with them. But you shouldnt be driving your FD in the rain.

Bob, you can do a LOT better than the ES100s.....if you think the grip is stunning now, run some BFG KDs or Azenis RT-615.

the rims are 17' 235/45 thanks for all the ideas i need tires that can handle well in rain adn dry i live on the coast (rain is a every week thing)

You can run 245/40's all around. I would suggest the Continental ContiSportContact 2. It has similar peformance to the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 with a cheaper price.
