Question tirerack.com

For those who have ordered tires from them..... Did the tires arrive on time or where they generally late. I hesitate when ordering stuff online because in the past I was forced to wait way too long for stuff I ordered plus they would never give me a straight answer. So for those who have ordered tires from here, how was the service? Where you satisfied? Thanks.

I have heard nothing but good things from friends that have ordered from them. Before you order, however, check out tires.com. They have free shipping, and generally are a little cheaper. Shop around so you can find the best deal.

I and many of my racing buddies buy things from them all the time. Everything is in stock and goes right out the door on time, never a problem. In fact, the one time I had a problem (my error on the shipping address) someone personally called me to ask about the discrepency and the shipment was STILL on time.

The sponsor all the national SCCA Solo2 events as well, so please support them when you can.

I've ordered from both www.tirerack.com and http://www.discounttiredirect.com and have never had any issues with either of them...

One thing to note. If you buy tires from discounttiredirect then take them to your local discount tire store to mount them they'll mount them for free (still pay balancing disposal etc etc)

either way works well

I have ordered two full sets of tires and a few odd ones (when my tires were slashed ) from tirerack.com. I have also ordered Hawk brake pads from them.

Everything shipped out the same or next day and was delivered on time. They will even ship tires to a local tirerack installer for you. I've had nothing but outstanding customer service from them. And their prices are very good too.

Here's another positive experience with tirerack.com - in fact I've ordered a pair of tires, a full set of tires, and a set of snow tires on steelies from them and have never had any problems. My first experience was in '97. Will definately order from them again.

Another option is to see if a local store will match tirerack's prices. Sears wouldn't for me but another store did.

The TireRack has been nothing less than great everytime I've ordered anything from them. I'll keep going back to them when ever I need tires that's for sure.
