Tire size advice.

So I have a set of Team Dynamics racing rims.

17x7 in front
17x8 in rear

I was planning on running:
235/40/17 in front
255/40/17 in rear

My question is... will those tire sizes fit effectively (performance wise and aesthetically) without bulging out the sides like rolls on a fat girl? Or should I tone it down to 225-front and 245-rear?

What do you guys think? Anyone have experience with these tire sizes on these sized rims?

Thanks.

Well for those of you who read this... I looked at pictures and what not.. and it would seem that 235 may be just one size to big in terms of maximizing contact patch and what not of the tire. However I'm still not sure.. as I would love to run 235/255 combo because they come in lower profile sizes for the tires I want to buy.

Anyways any input would be great.. thanks

225's already bulge out a little in the front, from my experience, same with 245's on an 8" wide wheel. If that's acceptable to you - those would be the sizes I would run.

The squarest fit you'll have with those widths are 215F, 235R.
