Tire & Rim fitment problem!!!

I purchased rims for my '83 rx7 from Goodwin Racing - Konig REWIND Silver special 4x110 fitment--15x7.

Also purchased 205/50-15 tires from Tirerack, which there website shows this size is suitable for this car.

Now the guys at Tire Kingdom says that the top inside of the tire will contact the strut on the frontend!

Any solution?

You might try wheel spacers to help clear. You want to make sure the spacers won't make them rub somewhere else though.

Good Luck!!!!

Okay,....do you have any idea where these can be purchased? I have the 4x110 bolt pattern.

spacers

H&R spacers are probably your best best. They are hub-centric. Try horsepowerfreaks.com

With your new rims you didn't specify what your back space is. Lets say for talking purpose that your back space is 2 inches. (distance from the inside edge of the rim to the inside mounting surface of the rim) If you measured what your current back space is you & the tire service guy could then know that you need a 3 or 4 inch back space rim. Exchanging the rims adds some shipping cost but then you no need to mess around with spacers.

Within my previous post I said:

***Lets say for talking purpose that your back space is 2 inches. (distance from the inside edge of the rim to the inside mounting surface of the rim) If you measured what your current back space is you & the tire service guy could then know that you need a 3 or 4 inch back space rim.***

I should have said:

Lets say for talking purpose that your back space is 4 inches. (distance from the inside edge of the rim to the inside mounting surface of the rim) If you measured what your current back space is you & the tire service guy could then know that you need a 2 or 3 inch back space rim. Will move the tire away from the strut/spring. The numbers are just an example.

Sorry for the mistake I typed a$$ backwards.
