Tire Help
Hey guys I did some searching and couldnt exactly get the info I was looking for. I just bought a set of the 99 spec wheels and I am wanting to buy some tires now. I was wanting to run 235/45/17 in front and wondering what I should run in the rear to give the car an aggressive look. I am usually pretty good about finding info for myself but when it comes to tires and suspension I have no clue. If anyone has pics of their car with 235/45/17 and 255/45/17 in the rear I would love to see the pics and also know what suspension setup you are running also.. Thanks for the help in advance.

Our cousins at miata.net have a neat tire size calculator that you can use to compare various tires to the OEM size. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html
Combine that with the info from tirerack.com, and you should be able to figure out what makes sense for you. I'm running 245/40-17's all around - next time I'll go to 255/40-17's. That's on 9" wide rims, using coilovers with 2.5" springs - don't know the 99 spec wheel width off the top of my head, but tire rack will give you ideal and acceptable wheel widths for any size tire they have.
