Tire fitment for a FC

will this work on my car I have 17x8 in the front and 17x9 in the back
I want to put 245/40/17 in the front and 275/40/17 in the back, I tried to search and I found the tire fitment guide and it said the front will work but the back needed to be 275/35/17 but my question is how will the tires look will they look like there going to bulge? I know I will need wide body for this setup but I also want to know how big I should get a wide body to match these I was thinking 20mil in the front and 30 mill in the back. to get a flush look.

You won't need widebody for these wheels.

In terms of tire sizing to fit the fronts i think you'll need to do a minor roll and run a 5mm spacer approx.

In the rear the 275 is just a crazy tall tire for the FC, i'd recommend a 255/40 or 265/40 and that won't require any spacer. You have pretty good offsets there.

All comes down to your suspension.

FYI- Hoosier tires run wider that what they are advertised as. I know people with 285's on the rear with coilovers on 17 by 10 wheels, but it doesnt look good. Thus why I went with my setup. 265's look just right not too big not too small.

I run 265 40 on 17 by 9 with a 34 offset, has about a finger and a half from the trailing arm. Coilovers will aways help.

Running Yokohama av140i tires.

This is clearance from the tire, and the trailing arm(frontward area of the rim).
