I am trying to decide on a tire combo, help me choose. I have an fd that will see 5,000ish mile per year of street driving along with some track and dragstrip use. The car will make around 650whp on kill, but 450whp for normal and track driving. Would you rather run:

255/40/17F, 275/40/17R Azenis RT615 tires
or
255/40/17 all around on the Toyo RA1 race compound tire.

I will not stagger the RA1's because I feel that I need to be able to rotate those tires due to tread life and cost.

 

Nevermind, I've decided on the Azenis. I'll get some take off RA1's or NT01's for track tires.
