Those of oyu that have Hawk HP+ pads
I replaced my pads with Hawk HP+ and put brand new Brembo front rotors on (just the blanks .. as research showed this to be the best option).
Anyway, I thought I broke them in .. but they are screaching LOUDLY. I took my car in to a few different people and they said they were glazed and the only way to fix this was to resurface my brand new rotors????
I thought I broke them in properly (by wearing the coating off of the pads SLOWLY). Is it just me .. or are other people experiencing extremely loud HP+ pads.
Also should I bother trying brake cleaner to see if that helps or not ?

That's not what the instructions in the box say, it says to bed them in properly. Try that, but I've used them and they do squeak, that's the price you pay for trying to use light duty track pads on the street. There's no way around it, they'll make noise and dust, if you can't put up with it you shouldn't have gotten those pads.

eactly, this is why after 6 months of trying to live with them, I swaped them out for the HP or whatever is not as high performance of a pad from hawk. life is GREAT without the screaching screaming squealing squelching brakes at every frigging stoplight oh man let me tell you.
