thinking about work xd9

I am planning to buy some work xd9's. 17x9.5 they come in +38 and +44. I know a lot of people are running 17x9 + 45's with 255's and no issues. will the extra .5'' of width matter if going with the +44? I think +38 will be too aggressive and I want to limit fender rolling if possible.

Just for reference here are the Work Xd9s I purchased last year in a matte finish (Endurance Black - IIRC) (Thanks for the hook up Ganesh! )

Set-up is as follows:
18x10 +38 all around 255/35 front 265/35 rear, stock fenders rolled, coilovers, ride height is at about 25.25".

If/when I do this again it will be with a +18 offset in the rear. But if I get really bold and wanna go HellaFlush I can throw a spacer on there.
