MA Are these wheels worth the money?

So im getting ready to do the 99 spec conversion this spring and im gonna need to get some wheels to go with it. Now what I really wanted to get were the Spirir R wheels but they're so scarce and i dont even know what to expect to pay for a set of those anyways. If anyone is more informed on that please chime in.
Long story short I got a guy whos has a set of 5 BBS RX 18" x 8" with 40mm offset, brand new and he is willing to sell them to me for 2 grand. The fifth wheel is optional but given BBS discontinued the RX series i didnt think it would be a bad idea. Its not the Spirit R of course but its close and I just dont know if they are really worth all the money. What do you guys think?

Sort of a skinny wheel. For 2 grand I would say no.

It really depends on the look you want. For BBS wheels, that's a good price. However for that price, I would be looking at something else...

For a few hundred more, you can get a custom set of CCW Classic's (your choice of width and offset):

What would you say is a fair price on them? I dont really need anything too wide on my powerband anyways. I could always ditch the spare wheel and try to work out a cash deal if the guy is willing to do that, idk. Thanks.

A few hundred more and i could get the BBS RG-R also. But idk 700 -800 bucks a piece is salty.

Thanks.

$2000 can get you so much more wheel. Unless the car is a OEM replica, No.

Agreed... You're going to want more tire than that.
